Growing up, bread was considered one of the essential food groups in our house. I can remember many family dinner discussions that included some version of “What do we want to do for bread? Rolls? Biscuits? A baguette?” It was as standard as a vegetable side dish. Needless to say, I have been baking bread for years. Most recently, I’ve turned my passion toward making quick breads, which are wonderful for their ability to be whipped up on a whim and doctored with lots of flavorful add-ins.
