FREE Ready Made Marketing Tools, Ideas and Plans for Club Operators to Engage Membership
MINNEAPOLIS, July, 2020 – Club management is not easy this summer with some gyms open and facing the challenges of busy, wait listed classes, while others close again and rush to market their on-demand services to at home members. To lighten a little of the burden and help clubs fast track their member marketing and engagement, whether in the club or at home, FitnessOnDemand has launched Club Marketing Kits, available for free every month from the digital content leader.
“Club operators have a lot on their plates right now,” says Andrew Evenson, senior director operations and brand strategy, FitnessOnDemand. “Across the industry, everyone is obviously is taking it day by day juggling a workload that has tripled. We started our program of ready-made Club Marketing Kits in January, but seeing how stretched many operators, particularly smaller boutiques, can be, we’ve ramped up our efforts to provide the tools and ideas that can help them reach their members wherever they are working out, in the club or at home.”
FitnessOnDemand Club Marketing Kits are available to managers via a digital asset portal every month. Managers can download physical tools to print and use around the club or with their in-club membership: things like member flyers and posters and simple but highly effective tactics like punch cards that clubs can use to incentivize and then reward members who complete blocks of FitnessOnDemand classes. Each month managers also receive pre-designed email headers with suggested marketing copy to engage members with new services, classes and other initiatives at home and on the go. Kits also include readymade four-week workout plans for clubs to offer their members. Each is a balanced and thoughtful mix of select and varied cardio classes, weight programs and rest periods to receive and build endurance, as well as suggested virtual classes and digital content.
For members still working out entirely or partially at home, the FOD Club Marketing Kits provide instructions and ideas to onboard and engage members with the streaming service FLEX, FitnessOnDemand’s platform for providing on-demand high intensity, specialty workouts and stretch/wind down classes and content to members at home or on the go with their phones. Other tools include ideas for virtual engagement – the 21 Day FLEX Challenge, for instance, that clubs can implement any time with their memberships.
“We’re working hard to bring ideals and simple, ready to use tools to our club customers,” adds Evenson. “These kits won’t solve every problem but for clubs suddenly busy again, temporarily closed or juggling all kinds of changing needs, they’re a handy, and we think smart, support tool to ease the strain.”
Any club operator, manager or instructor not receiving FitnessOnDemand Club Marketing Kits should contact their customer service representative or visit www.fitnessondemand247.com.
