Take a mixing bowl and add 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, ¼ tsp salt and 1 cup sugar. In another bowl, mix 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites, ½ tsp vanilla extract, ⅔ cup vegetable oil and yeast. Add the flour mixture to this one and incorporate well until a smooth batter is ready. Then add 1 cup chopped apples, 1 cup chopped raisins and nuts and mix thoroughly. Transfer this in a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven on 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50-60 minutes. Dust the cake with granulated sugar powder and serve with a topping of your gang’s choice.

Warning. This delicious chocolate brownie cake might make your group fight over the last slice! Heat the oven for 160 degrees Celcius and grease a baking dish. Heat a pan and melt 1 cup butter, 1 cup caster sugar, 1 cup plain chocolate, ½ cup brown sugar and 1 tbsp sugar syrup until well-incorporated and free of lumps. Remove from heat and let it cool. In another bowl, whisk 2 eggs and sieve ¾ cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ½ tsp baking powder and 2 tbsp cocoa powder and stir properly. Put the mixture in the greased tin and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Serve with a topping of ice cream and chopped fresh fruits.

Reminisce the spirit of friendship with a delicious sponge cake flavoured with this beloved seasonal fruit. Preheat your oven on 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a baking dish. Blend 1 cup mango cubes with ¾ cup sugar until completely smooth. Pour this mixture in a bowl and add ½ cup oil, 1 tsp vinegar and whisk properly. Sieve 2 cups all-purpose flour, ¼ cup milk and mix until a creamy batter is ready. Put this in the greased dish and bake for 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Add 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 ½ cups sunflower oil, 3 beaten eggs in a bowl and combine well. Now add 1 ½ cups grated carrot, zest from 1 large orange and ¾ cup raisins. Gradually start adding 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp cinnamon powder and ½ tsp grated nutmeg and stir until a runny batter is formed. Pour the mixture in the greased tin and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Decorate with icing sugar mixed with orange juice.
